I've admitted defeat with this jigsaw puzzle that Mum lent me. It's been out for weeks now and in really good light this morning I tried and failed to get any of the blue pieces in. I'm sick of seeing the case around the place so I gave in and took it all apart. I've only done that with 1 other jigsaw before but this one's really got me beaten. The blues all have a slightly different tone to them but I can't even distinguish between them well enough to do the top edge let alone all the rest of it. I've decided Mum can have it back! She probably won't even attempt it though if I can't manage it.
This is what it should look like.

Gosh...I haven't done a jigsw for ages even tho I have a few. My Mum used to be a demon with them and would stay up all night to conquer them. As for blue sky...well....I even caught her measuring the pieces once!!!!!!!!!! Don't blame you giving up on this one tho X
how annoying is that! i haven't done one for years either and i think i too would've put that one away!!!
the trick it,not to pick one with a lot of sky LOL!!!
Tracy I didn't pick it, Mum thinks it was one that was given away with a daily newspaper sometime last year.
I can see why they gave it away - no-one in their right mind would buy it!!
Sue x
Blimey Sue that certainly looks difficult, havent done a jigsaw in years, might give one a go now.
Good grief - a few clouds would have been nice, wouldn't they?!
Good grief, you deserve a medal. I don't have the patience for jigsaws!
there's rather a lot of sky on that one - quite a challenge! We always had a big jigsaw out every christmas at my grandparents home and I'd spend hours pouring over it with my grandad. Now when I see a complicated jigsaw I always think fondly of him.
