A little Teaser!

Just a little teaser of what I have been working on for the last few weeks.

I've knit 48 of these!

Only 3 stitches to begin with, increasing for 20 rows then decreasing until back down to 3 stitches. Every row different and so difficult in the beginning although after the first dozen I could do them without looking at the pattern.

Now this is a lot easier but not finished as I seem to need miles of it......

Start off with 8 stitches increase until 12 and then cast off 4 and start all over again and again and again, you get the idea i'm sure.

I've started on the sewing up now so will be back with the finished thing quite soon -I hope!
Ooops almost forgot i'll need yards of ribbon as well. Mmmm pink or blue???

Wow! You're a fab knitter, Sue. I think this will be a cot or pram blanket. I'm sure my Grandma knitted something with "bumps" like the first piece had for one of us "babies"

That edging looks so pretty Sue but it is amazing how much you need to go right round even a little blanket, isn't it? I'm sure the blanket is going to look lovely.

Beautiful knitting - it's going to be a super blanket to be treasured - what a labour of love (I can remember making a shawl for my SIL's first baby years ago - it seemed to go on forever!) x
