Looking through this blog last night I realised that there is a serious shortage of crafty items so set out this morning to make a few cards with the many stamped and coloured images I already had in the box on my desk. It also gave me a chance to use up some of the many pre-scored card blanks I have collected over the years from various kits and not used.
This is quite a new Challenge blog and this week we were told .....We would like to see your creations on the theme of ENCHANTMENT. We are thinking of Fairies, Dragons, Unicorns, Witches etc, but we are sure you will come up with lots of ideas that we haven't even thought of...and don't forget you are not restricted to Lili of the Valley products or just stamping, be as adventurous as you like.
This fairy from Lili of the Valley has been glittered and layered up onto white paper embossed with Cuttlebug's snowflake folder. This has been layered onto burgundy paper and placed onto a square white card. A simple peel-off completes it.
The challenge this week is to make a Christmas card!! We thought we'd give you a helping hand to get your cards started early this year and we have a fabulous CD of Christmas designs which Wendy of OOh La La Creations has kindly donated as a prize to be given to one randomly chosen winner.
It seems very strange to be making Christmas cards when the weather outside is so warm and sunny but I bought this stamp from Magnolia stamps only a couple of weeks ago so it seemed only right to use it for this challenge.Tilda with Christmas wreath has been stamped onto an oval of white card using a grey Versafine inkpad. She has been coloured with Polychromos and sansodor. A strip of snowflake paper from Lilli of the Valley has been layered down one side of a pale blue A5 card and the stamped image offset onto this. A peel-off greeting in silver has been added at the bottom. Crystal ultra fine glitter has been added to Tilda's wings, hat and cuffs as well as the centre of all the snowflakes on the backer.
