Spring Flowers.
2 cards here using the same Sarah Kay stamp. They have been coloured with a combination of Stampin' Up markers and watercolour pencils. The backing card mounts for both is from DCWV. The stamped greeting is from Personal Impressions.
This first one has the greeting embossed in pale blue which shows better IRL. It has 2 layers of flowers and some spotty white organza ribbon held together with a brad.

Cute Card Thursday.
On Cute Card Thursday challenge we were told.....
We would love to see your creations with a music or dance theme this week. Think instruments, song titles, dancing, musical notes etc.
Well this is what I came up with. The image is from Paper Nation and has been inked with Versafine Grey and painted with shimmery watercolours and water colour crayons..jpg)
The image has been layered onto paper from HOTP citrus pad with corners decorated with a X Cut punch. This has been layered onto lilac cardstock which has a piece of organza ribbon attached. The whole topper has been put onto a pre-embossed card from DCWV

Cute Card Thursday
This week the theme is 'The two of us'
We need to use two of something on our card, it could be 2 people, 2 animals or 1 of each.
This week Nikki from Dewdrop Craftz has very kindly donated a gorgeous stamp. Do pop into the shop and check out th
e other fantastic stamps they have to offer!
I've not done one of these challenges for a little while now but just happened to have this card ready made for another challenge but as it has not been shown on my blog yet here it is.

The image is Car Couple from Paper Nation, it has been stamped in grey versafine ink and coloured using polychromos for the couple and shimmery watercolour paints for the car. It was stamped onto white card and layered onto a piece of grey textured card.
The main card is a ready embossed one from DCWV called Dragonflower.
The card was originally made for the Think Pink Challenge over on the Bubbly Funk Forum. Do check this out as it is for a really good cause and lots of us on the forum are making things for it.

May swaps
I've had my swaps for May back from Lynn today. On the Stamping Mad forum we swap 2 ATCs and 2 Moos each month. I don't post pictures of what i've done until I know these have been received by the other people in the swap. Most people seemed to get theirs yesterday so I think i'm safe in showing now.
The theme for the ATC was Distressed, something i've not tried before and i'm not sure I will again as I think mine look positively miserable.
For the background I used my embossed loo roll paper with shimmery watercolour paint. Onto this I layered torn mulberry paper and a scrap of card which I put through the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes folder. I used card from the Neutrals stack by DCWV and sanded it afterwards to show the white core. A piece of ribbon was held down by a brad which had been sanded.

Now my Moos are a different thing entirely and I love them. The theme was Pink & Purple.
I brushed the background card with a Brilliance inkpad to give a soft look. I then used my Cuttlebug Paisley die and cut paint charts from Dulux. I layered these by swapping the cut out bits for the contrasting colour. The spaces that were too small to fit the pieces back in were filled with glitter glue but it doesn't show up on the pic.

Cute Card Thursday
The theme this week on Cute Card Thursday is In the Garden.

I was inspired by this little lady who normally sits
in my kitchen window but who decided to take a
journey outside into the sunshine yesterday. She's a Little Kitchen Fairy named Oopsy Daisy Baby.

This is the card I made from a picture of her, sitting in a hanging basket, which I snapped with my mobile phone.
With Versa colour inks in Petal Pink & Narcissus I stamped and clear embossed flowers from Personal Impressions and See-D's Morsels randomly over a cream card. The centres were highlighted with glitter glue.
I printed the photo onto plain white card and deckled the edges before layering it onto a lovely pale lemon and then moss green mats from a card stack by DCWV.
